Elvira Mary Weddings FAQ:
Understandably, you’ll have many questions for any wedding vendor. You want to know how things work in their business and how that vendor does what they do. The best way to get all of your specific questions answered is to have a meeting with me, Kiersten, as the owner. However, over the years, I’ve received a few questions frequently that you might want to ask, too. They’re listed here.
Why do you need two filmmakers at every wedding?
There is simply no way I or any other filmmaker can be in two places at once, despite my best efforts at cloning! having two filmmakers ensures the most complete coverage of your day from two different perspectives, which gives you a more unique and complete full length film.
Do you require a deposit? When is the balance due?
A deposit of 25% of your final package price is required when the contract is signed to guarantee your date. After that, you can pay the balance whenever you like, and in however many installments suit your finances. The only requirement is that the balance has to be paid in full fifteen days before your wedding date.
How long after my wedding will I receive my highlight film/ feature film?
The contract you’ll sign with me promises that your edit will be mailed to you within 16-24 weeks of the wedding date. Depending on when your wedding falls in the year, you can generally expect to see your wedding edit 12-14 weeks after your wedding date.
What’s your style?
I believe that wedding films are unique to every couple, and blend that with cinematic and documentary style shots and edits. I utilize all these techniques when capturing a wedding.
